I really like UNR they are one of the few schools where you can receive your bachelors degree in behavior analysis. The programs are vigorous and there are easier places to graduate from but if you are looking for specific opportunities you are more likely to find them at UNR.

Generally a well-rounded public university. I'd say relatively decent in every category except food. Opportunities here favor STEM & sports-related topics. Professors will either be the greatest help to you or your biggest hindrance, during the semester; HIGHLY recommend researching a professor before enrolling.

The engineering department... complete trash. Professors have no enthusiasm, tests are pretty much around failing average in every single class from freshman to junior and some senior classes. more than half of the professors are rude and egotistical. In the engr communications when asked, "Who likes engineering". Only 1 kid raised his hand...

I have never had a college campus feel like home until UNR. It is really such a great school with nice welcoming staff and students. I'm so glad I decided to go to Reno for school, go pack!

I graduated from UNR in 2018. It was a great school. If you are looking for the "college experience" while still getting a quality education, then this is the school for you. The location has a lot to offer and the teachers at UNR have solid professional experience and are supportive. I had a few subpar professors but the majority were awesome.

good school, good counselors/advisors, decent professors, the stem professors are a hit or miss though. sense of community is more common here, living on campus isn't bad either. food gets repetitive here though.

Overall good school, food is definitely the worst part. There are plenty of opportunities as long as you're looking for them, and the social scene is much better than UNLV. Definitely "college town" vibes, but id prefer that over a big city.

I have been going to UNR for 3 years and will be graduating. There are opportunities if you seek it. Good people overall, not the best school but I think it is better than UNLV for multiple reasons. The facilities are pretty great so take advantage of everything there.

Love this school! I am graduating this semester. There is so much to do in Reno! Being so close to Tahoe is amazing, as well as the ski resorts. The faculty at UNR are very caring, and I've enjoyed most of my classes during my time here. If you are into fitness and lifting, UNRs gym is absolutely amazing.

I have loved being at UNR it has great opportunities yet is a smaller school so it is easier to take advantage of their opportunities. Has a great social life and many great resources such as the gym and student union.

UNR is the best. It's near downtown so there are many other locations available for students to study or hangout with friends. Opportunities are great. I think it's important to work hard and network because those opportunities will not come easy but having appropriate references is very helpful. I am very happy here and have never felt unsafe.

UNR is the best. As a disabled student I was worried about accessibility and was pleased to discover that most of UNR's accessibility features work. There's still some broken automatic doorways and elevators that don't work, but overall its a good school.

Overall, a great university to attend, especially if you are an in-state student saving money on tuition. The university is continuing to make advancements with the developments of colleges and new facilities. There are a lot of clubs and UNR is heavily involved in Greek life. As a freshman, I am very happy with my decision to stay in Reno.
